Mulberry Stevie Bag: Sizes, Colors and Details

The Mulberry Stevie launched in September 2026 in two sizes, with a Postman's Lock and a removable strap. Here are the colors, sizes and materials.

The Mulberry Stevie, in short

The Mulberry Stevie is a top-handle bag the house launched in September 2026, in a regular and a small size. It has the Postman's Lock on the front flap, a removable top handle and an adjustable shoulder strap. The regular comes in Black, Ebony, Amethyst and Foggy Grey Suede. Mulberry says the leather comes from a partner tannery in Italy and the bag is made in its partner factory in Türkiye.

Mulberry just introduced the Stevie Top Handle, and it is the most convincing new bag the house has put out in a while. The shape is a soft, structured top handle with the brand's signature Postman's Lock at the front, built to move from desk to dinner without a second thought. You can carry it by the top handle for a polished daytime look, or clip on the strap and wear it on the shoulder when the day gets looser.

We are loving it in every color it comes in. There is a rich Amethyst for anyone who wants a bag with a little more personality than another black tote, a classic Black and a deeper Ebony for those who want the shape without overthinking the color, and a Foggy Grey Suede for a softer, textural finish that photographs beautifully in low light. The leather is Mulberry's supple smooth leather in the structured colors, polished enough to look considered without ever feeling precious.

Sizing runs true through the line, and the detachable handle and adjustable strap mean one bag genuinely does double duty. If you have been waiting for a new It bag that does not require an explanation, this is it. It is the newest addition to the top handle bag edit we keep adding to.

Small touches for the Stevie

The Stevie keeps its front plain, so the extras do the talking. Mulberry's Skinny Scarves come in Belted Border, Riverside Floral and Somerset Surreal prints, and a scarf knotted on the handle is the simplest way to add color. The Fish and Sandwich charms and the Wisteria flower keyring clip onto the bag in seconds. The Black and Ebony versions suit the brighter pieces best, while the Amethyst already has enough color on its own. Pick one extra, not three.

Living With the Stevie

I have carried one myself, and it earns its place. The regular holds a laptop, and the small is the better pick for a day that runs from desk to dinner.

Both sit on a flat base and have a zip pocket on the back, which is where my phone lives. The top handle comes off and the shoulder strap adjusts, so it really is two bags in one.

The colors split by size, which is worth knowing before you fall for one. The regular comes in Black, Ebony and Amethyst supple smooth leather plus Foggy Grey Suede. The small comes in Black, Ebony, Royal Amethyst Suede and Foggy Grey Waxed Snake Print. Mulberry launched the family in September 2026 with a campaign shot by New York photographer Stevie Dance, starring a cast of people who are all named Stevie, which is the most charming bit of casting I have seen all season.

Which Stevie I Would Pick

I would buy the Ebony first if I wanted one bag that works with everything for years, and the Amethyst if my closet already has enough neutral bags and I wanted the one people stop me about. Think twice about the Foggy Grey Suede if you carry a bag every day in bad weather, because suede asks for more care than smooth leather. What I like most is that Mulberry did not overdesign it. No logo shouting, no gimmick hardware, just a useful shape in leather that will age well.

Try it both ways in store, by the handle and on the shoulder, before you settle on a color. The way it sits changes slightly, and that should guide your pick more than the finish does.

If you are unsure about the shape, which bag shape actually suits you is a good place to start. For a quilted option in the same size range, see the Tory Burch Charlie bag. If you want a daily carry bag with a different shape, Toteme has several.
